About Khadija Mouh
For over 20 years, Khadija Mouh has designed traditional caftans and Moroccan inspired pieces. A native of Salé, she immigrated to the United States in 1985 with a fashion degree from Laila Aicha in Touargas, Rabat. After settling in the New York area, she completed her education with a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Katherine Gibbs School. Coupled with an Advanced Certificate in Event Management from The Institute of Commercial Management, Khadija has coordinated dozens of events such as weddings, henna engagement parties, fashion shows, corporate events and cultural festivals.
Part of an effort to bring jobs and opportunities to men and women in Morocco, all of Khadija's designs are handmade by master seamstresses and tailors who specialize in the fine detail and ancestral heritage of Moroccan embroidery.
